Our People. Our Town. Our Future.

People first. A stronger Orangeville.

I’m Tricia Hebert, a community volunteer, vocal advocate, supply teacher, coach and mother, running for Orangeville Town Council. I believe local government works best when it listens with care, acts responsibly, and keeps people at the heart of every decision.

Focused on what matters to Orangeville

Our town deserves thoughtful leadership that respects residents, protects what we value, and plans confidently for the future. My priorities are grounded in listening, safe communities, responsible growth, and fiscal accountability.

Listening to residents

Every resident deserves to be heard. I will bring a practical, approachable voice to council - one that listens to concerns, welcomes ideas, and puts people before politics.

Keeping our community safe

Safe streets, welcoming public spaces, and strong community connections help Orangeville remain a place where families, seniors, and businesses can thrive.

Growing responsibly

Orangeville can grow while protecting its character. I support careful planning that considers infrastructure, services, green spaces, and the needs of the people who call our town home.

Respecting your tax dollars

Fiscal responsibility means making informed decisions, seeking value, and being transparent about how municipal dollars are used—today and for generations to come.

As a committed community volunteer, mother of three, safety professional, and education worker, I understand that the decisions made at town hall shape everyday life. I am running for Orangeville Town Council to be a clear, caring, and vocal advocate for our community.

A neighbour ready to serve

Rooted in Orangeville

Orangeville is more than a place on a map—it is the neighbours, local businesses, parks, schools, and shared spaces that make our community feel like home. Together, we can protect what we love while building a responsible future.

About Tricia

For the past 16 years, this community has given our family so much. Our children have grown up through Orangeville’s recreation programs, sports, music, community organizations and beautiful natural spaces. Those experiences helped shape who they are today. Now that our children are teenagers, I feel it’s my turn to give back so future generations can enjoy the same opportunities—and even more.

"Tricia is passionate and optimistic, and will work hard to improve our community. Her six years volunteering as a Scouter showed her teamwork and concern for developing young people."

— Chuck Heron, Orangeville resident

I have had the privilege of knowing Tricia Hebert through professional and personal interactions, and I can confidently say she embodies the qualities every town council deserves: integrity, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

Throughout my military career, including my current service within NATO, I have learned that effective leadership is built on trust, accountability, and the ability to bring people together to solve complex challenges. Tricia demonstrates these same qualities in everything she does. She listens carefully, considers different perspectives, and approaches decisions with fairness and determination.

What stands out most is her dedication to the community. She is not interested in headlines or personal recognition, her focus is on achieving practical results that improve the lives of local residents. She understands that strong communities are built through collaboration, respect, and responsible leadership.

I have every confidence that Tricia will serve our town with the same professionalism, resilience, and sense of duty that I have come to admire. I am proud to support her candidacy and encourage others to do the same.

Tricia gets my full support in running for town council. On her behalf, I will knock door to door, I will operate the phones, and I’ll attend the events that she conducts. She is persistent, passionate, a serial volunteer, and has proven time and time again that she is dedicated to improving the lives of people.

She is a quick learner and an even quicker master of details. I support Tricia because I know that the moment she runs into a formidable roadblock in trying to get something done, she will not shirk from it but only grow in strength. If you spend a few
minutes with Tricia, you will encounter an authentic individual who will work hard for the citizens of Orangeville.

I believe that Tricia Hebert should be in a front-line position to get involved with what is happening in Orangeville and Dufferin County.
